My Divisoria Trekking: Fabric Shopping

My brother and I went to Divisoria last Sunday. I wanted to give DIY flowers a shot since I still have a lot of time in my hands and I have already booked majority of my suppliers, well, almost all actually.

So off we went to 999 Mall again where we bought the cloth for the female principal sponsors. I really like the staff there. And I was impressed when they remembered me and my brother! I know I have mentioned them in my previous post already but this time I took a picture of their shop too.

Since I want to try my hand at peony fabric flowers, I needed light satin fabric. I got it for only Php 40.00 from them! This costs double at the malls!

Next, I went to buy off-white felt fabric for small white flowers that I want to include in the bouquet. I got these at this store as per the recommendation of the staff from JJMJJ House of Fabric. They had all kinds of ribbons, laces, appliques, faux pearls, cross-stitch supplies, garter, and a whole lot of other stuff.

They did, however, have limited felt fabric colors.

I bought the felt fabric for Php 100.00 per yard. I know I can get this cheaper outside 999 Mall but I was okay to pay for the Php 15.00 difference for the air-conditioning and shelter from the rain! It wasn't raining when we got there but it rained while we were inside the mall.

My brother and I were already hungry so we decided to check out the mall's food court. We found a hidden gem among the fast foods there!

Red Spoon Ala Carte

Fried Sea Food Noodles Php 100.00

Radish Cake Php 100.00

Dumplings Php 100.00

Kikiam Php 30.00

My brother was in food heaven...

We were so full and happy with our food. My brother even ordered for take out! He said he is now more than willing to accompany me on all my Divisoria Trekkings.

*LOL*

While we were finding our way out of the mall, we came across this store selling all kinds of linen and canvas fabric. And boy, I was thinking of all possible reasons to buy from them! They had an extensive line of canvas and linen fabrics with all kinds of pretty prints!

I still was able to buy a yard, though. I wanted to use it to make the dress for my doll that I made from my "Hello, Dolly" workshop.

Shabby Chic is so cute! Linen for Php 75.00 per yard

So, my total loot for my Sunday Divisoria Trekking just cost me Php 195.00! But our lunch cost me around Php 420.00, LOL!!

I plan to do my DIY projects over the long weekend. So wish me luck! I will let you know how it goes.

  2. Hey there! Nope, I didn't really notice any cloth buttons in these stores. But there is a possibility in the store in stall BH-01. They have lots of sewing supplies in there. You can also check out Wellmansons in Tabora Street, not the one in Quiapo. I know they have a huge variety of buttons there. HTH! :)

    1. Hi, Glaiza. It's in the basement area, when you come in from outside via the stairs it should be at your left. Hope this helps!

  6. Hello, I went to Divisoria just last Friday. I bought a jute sack, which others call burlap. I was able to find a store in Ylaya. As for the felt, I had a hard time looking for it, even went to Tabora but I did not find as much. I found this one store in Ylaya as well, just near the store where I bought my jute sacks, and they sell a yard for P120.00. Although pricier, they have wide variety of colors you can choose from.
