Product Review: L'Oreal Shine Caresse

I always get hyped when I see lippies in my BDJ Box. So you can understand my excitement when I found the Shine Caresse in my BDJ L'Oreal March Box. I tried it on the very next day!

I am attracted to shiny objects, and this is
definitely attractive to me, tee-hee!

My thought bubble: Oh no... It's orange!

Now, why couldn't I have gotten a shade in pink? Or purple? The Shiseido Rouge was very red (from the February BDJ Box) and the Flormar Lippy from the previous BDJ Box was also, for crying out loud, orange!

So I am going to pray real hard that I at least get a shade that suits me should BDJ Box decide to send one again.

So this is me before I applied on L'Oreal Shine Caresse:

And this is me after application:

Ok, so I know it's not as dreadful as I made it sound. But I just don't see orange lippies to be a favorite. I can do either really dark, purple, pink or barely there. But orange just isn't going to make it to the top of my list right now.

So anyway, the brush applicator tickled, or maybe I am just not used to brush applicators. I am used to the typical lipstick, I guess. But it did the job in moisturizing my lips. Although it did not last the whole day, it got removed from all the water drinking I did during the outreach session. So if you plan to use this for the entire day, it would be best to bring it with you and retouch every now and then.

Cheerio!
