We all met at the Gateway Mall at 1:00 PM, by then it started raining really hard. We arrived at his place in 16th Avenue in Cubao at 2:00 PM. We were a battalion of brides, 14 in total! There were 2 grooms in there but the rest were us girls.
We were welcomed warmly by Chef Kiko in his receiving area. We found out that he had a dessert tasting with a couple earlier and baked a wedding cake which he chose to just have his assistant deliver since he was waiting for us. Despite all these there were no traces of him being tired, he was still cheerful and lively.
Here are some of my close-up shots of the goodies that we sampled:
Truffles and Fruit Tarts
Panna Cotta and Dark Chocolate
Ganache Cupcakes (Bite size)
Banana Walnut Cupcakes (Bite Size)
Dark Chocolate Ganache Cupcakes
Red Velvet, Lemon and Banana Walnut Cupcakes
Red Velvet and Lemon Cupcakes
I enjoyed all of these sweet treats but my heart was definitely won over by the banana walnut. We were also able to taste Chef's Blueberry Cheesecake but I was not able to take a picture of it because I was already so busy eating! LOL
Chef also showed us a sample fondant cake. This is just a dummy cake and is not edible but it is the actual size of his cakes.

I am very much interested with getting a cake buffet from Chef. I am so sold with his creations and is especially excited to try out his Reese's Cheescake! If you want to see more of his beautiful and yummy cakes and cupcakes, check out his Facebook Page here.
Chef Kiko is pleasant to talk to so if you want to send an inquiry please feel free to do so. I can personally attest how we all enjoyed being with him during the cake tasting.
